A Rose Bequeathed
Glistening with a kiss from the morning sun
It's petals moistened by the morning dew
The release of my hearts passion
From a most gentle place
This rose, I bequeath to you
With the Summer's rain to nourish the tender core
In it's immense beauty, this rose will eternally endure
The long stem to carry it's weight with it's leaves adorned in green
Guiding the way to it's splendor as my love draws you nearer to me
A touch reminiscent of satin
The brim of it's petals painted as crimson
Tranquility this masterpiece does convey
As the Summer breeze would blow across a spectacular bay
Surrounding my spirit
Enveloping my soul
Hence this beautiful abiding rose, I desire to hold
